My 13yr old son loves the food from this place, as do I. We only usually have our food delivered, so as part of his birthday celebrations he chose to dine in at their restaurant. Seriously, this place is a hidden gem! The staff are so kind, courteous and considerate. They cannot do enough to make your visit there as pleasant as possible. The food is God tier! The best Hot Meat Puri I have ever had! Phenomenal. All the food is delicious. There was no negatives at all about our meal. It was perfect! The icing on the cake (literally!) was when the staff bought out a birthday cake, complete with candle, that they had arranged for my sons birthday without our knowing! It was seriously the sweetest, most kindest, gesture ever! We were so touched. The Royal Gurkha, Newstead, is an outstanding restaurant that doesn't get anywhere near the recognition it so deserves.

First time ordering Indian after being recommended, very impressed with all aspects from ordering to delivery on time by a very polite driver. The meal was excellent, so tasty and great portions. Will definitely be Ordering again and would recommend to anyone , five stars to my now favourite place to eat 👍🏻
